    DESCRIPTION

    Responsible for the timely and accurate invoicing of the freights and miscellaneous (projects infrastructure, scrap sale, demurrages) revenues; for booking in the systems the invoices and credit notes and for the accurate revenue recognition.Includes invoicing of demurrages, switchings, miscellaneous, Vamex and NAFTA Invoicing. Special processes for sensitive customers such as PEMEX, CFE, CEMEX, Automotive and Shipping companies.

    Works independently and receives minimal guidance. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions. Leads projects with moderate scope, risks, and resource requirements. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Develops and manages operational initiatives to deliver tactical results.

    ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Daily reviews the pending to be invoiced records in the system (SAP) in order to
      • proceed with the timely invoicing processCompletes purchase requisitions.
    • Sends to the customers all the invoices for freight and miscellaneous services
      • on timely basis and including all the required support for the invoices in order
      • to assure the correct acceptance of invoices by the customers..
    • Assure an accurate invoicing process to prevent problems in the collection
      • process.
    • Analyze the automatic revenue recognition process in order to prevent problems
      • in the month close.
    • Work together with the Marketing & Sales Depts. In order to assure an accurate
      • rate application

    IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

    REQUIRED

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in a job related major field of study
    • Minimum five (5) years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

     

     

    PREFERRED SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

    • Good level of English

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Responsible for the timely and accurate invoicing of the freights and miscellaneous
    • This position has a regular full time schedule with a normal work week of Monday through Friday. There may be a need for occasional work after hours or weekends.
    • This position may require minimal travel up to 10% of the time.
