    SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for dispatching/loading/unloading of all trucks/railcars on a timely basis.
    • Review MRP to complete an analysis of parts needed against the inventory to determine what needs to be ordered, and send out an electronic release.
    • Responsible for preparing barcode labels and shippers and sending ASN/Ship notices to customers upon shipment and keeping verification of same.
    • Serves as customer liaison for shipments.
    • Interact with Releasing and Production Control/Scheduling colleagues.
    • Assist with all packaging and containerization needs on the shift.
    • Communicate critical issues to leadership on a 7/24 basis.
    • Supply daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports as required.
    • Participate in root cause analysis and team problem-solving activities (ex. 8D reports, department meetings, etc.).
    • Support plant activities towards achieving customer awards and quality registrations (ex. IATF, etc.)
    • Responsible for following all internal and OSHA-required safety procedures in performing daily work activities.
    • Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
    • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the work area.
    • Adherence to all company policies and procedures (i.e. Quality Policy Manual, Colleague Handbook, Level II procedures, etc.)

    Required Skills

    • Computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
    • Knowledge of inventory management and scanning systems.
    • Knowledge of scheduling techniques.
    • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
    • Ability to safely operate forklifts and other related warehouse machinery.
    • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
    • Leadership capabilities.
    • Ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations. PHYSICAL DEMANDS, WORK ENVIRONMENT, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS Duties include but are not limited to: stand, walk, twist, bend, lift, see, talk, and hear. May be required to travel. Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and hazardous materials.     Required Experience

    - One to three years experience in a Shipping and Receiving role. - 1 or more years of operating a forklift and/or picker preferred.

    • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred.
