    This role can be located in Detroit, Plymouth and New Boston (Romulus) areas!!

    In this role as Sr. Compensation Analyst, you will facilitate the research, design, analysis and administration of global compensation programs, policies, and procedures for US and MX. These include base pay, cash bonus, salary/hourly wage structures, relocation, immigration, Associate retention programs, separation pay programs, and executive compensation programs that align with company objectives for recruiting, retention, and employee engagement.

    • Ensures regulatory compliance of laws and regulations (FLSA) that affect compensation plans.
    • Partner with the Compensation Director in designing and implementing global compensation programs including the annual merit cycle, cash bonus plan, etc.
    • Team with the HRIS Manager in managing the global job code structures.
    • Primary point of contact with the HRIS Team to create reports, queries, analyze data, and research data required for various compensation related projects.
    • Team with Payroll, HRIS and HR staff for the bi-annual pay increases for applicable hourly Associates.
    • Partner with HR and organizational leaders to develop recommendations for offers, promotions, transfers and wage proposals in accordance with appropriate guidelines and policies.
    • Research and generate local and global salary surveys and participates in global market analysis.
    • Partner with HR/Finance staff, and external vendors regarding administration, reporting, and analysis of compensation programs.
    • Oversee the domestic relocation program including documentation with vendors, HR staff and current/future employees.
    • Collaborate with Compensation Director in monitoring the TN Foreign Assignment Program and Expatriate/Inpatriate Programs to meet all internal/external deadlines.
    • Maintain the Job Description Library to determine salary grades, bonus level and job codes.
    • MS Excel advanced user capable of upload/download of large documents to/from e-resources.
    • Partner with Compensation Director on special projects.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance or another related field.
    • 4-7 years as a HR Compensation Specialist/Analyst; strongly prefer manufacturing industries.
    • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification or in process; a plus.
    • Must have knowledge of Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.
    • Global Compensation Specialist/Analyst for MX;  Brazil and/or India a plus.
    • Demonstrate strong company Compensation analytics and computational skills.
    • Display order in setting priorities, multi-task, and meeting quick deadlines in a fast-paced work environment with attention to details and 100% accuracy.
    • Excellent written, verbal, listening, interpersonal, presentations and teamwork skills.
    • Competency to deal with sensitive information and situations with professionalism, discretion and diplomacy.
    • Intermediate MS Excel/PowerPoint skills including uploads/download from e-resources required.
