Postdoctoral Associate (Development, Aging and Regeneration)

The Larson laboratory has a POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE opening for an enthusiastic scientist interested in in vivo pharmacology, drug discovery, and cardiovascular biology and physiology. The Larson lab focuses on understanding the molecular, cellular, and physiological bases for cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, and on translating these discoveries into drug targets and potential therapies. The laboratory combines cellular phenotypic characterization, in vivo modeling, biochemical and bioinformatics approaches, functional genomics, and high throughput screening to generate and interrogate therapeutic hypotheses and create drug candidates. The Postdoctoral Associate will work in a vibrant and collaborative research environment and have the opportunity to lead multiple projects. The Postdoctoral Associate is expected to learn and perform physiological, biochemical and genetic experiments in cell culture and rodent models.
