    SALES COMPENSATION ANALYST                                          IRVINE, CA (HYBRID)

     

    Working as part of a team of 3 who support a global sales team of 400+ people, you’ll be responsible for administering sales commission plan designs and structures, ensuring that plans, credits, quotas and commissions are accurately prepared and submitted for approvals.  In this highly collaborative role you’ll be working extensively with Finance and Sales Management to manage and support plan designs, maintain and make system changes, review quota assignments, onboard new members, roll out comp plans and calculate commissions, reconcile and resolve any booking discrepancies, and ensure the accuracy of monthly commission calculations and payments.

     

    The team reports sales achievements and supports routine commission expense analysis and projections using Excel, so advanced skills are needed. Your excellent analytical skills with be in daily use and we’re hopeful that you can teach us a thing or two! We also use Xactly for our sales compensation system, experience of this, or something similar, is required.  You’ll assist in the development, maintenance and updates to systems and processes, these are critical to the reporting and tracking of compensation and sales team metrics. As we’re an acquisitive company you’ll be involved with merging comp plans from other companies into ours, ensuring they’re fair and equitable, identifying any issues arising and providing solutions.  

     

    Your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and excellent customer service skills will be used extensively as you resolve commissions issues/disputes from field employees. We’ll rely upon your firm, resolute character to enforce comp plan policies, appropriately escalating any issues. You’ll be regularly reviewing with Legal, Finance and Sales Ops the Sales Plan Administration and Distribution process, including the governance of the T’s & C’s.

    We’re looking for at least 2+ years’ experience in a sales compensation role, or a financial planning and analysis (FP&A) background, coupled with a strong financial acumen and extensive data analysis experience.  You’re self-motived, highly adaptable and used to working in a fast-paced, changeable environment and possess strong character, not easily manipulated.
