GENERAL SERVICES COORDINATOR

POSITION SUMMARY:

Coordinate and supervises the activities of the personnel in change, responsible of carrying out inspections to the assigned facilities, and determine / accomplish the maintenance programs and service to the facilities (civil, electrical, hydraulic, sanitary and electromechanical works), review and first level of approval of the engineering projects, collaborate in the process with direct manager to arrange and to develop scope of contracts from different services required (as cleaning services, in-house personnel, supply of services, materials, etc), affect and verify the appropriate execution of the budget to guarantee the services supply to the stations.

FORMAL EDUCATION:

LIST IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE       

1)Bachelor of Architect or Civil, Electrical or Mechanical engineering.

EXPERIENCE:

LIST IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE       

1)Project Management.

            2)General Building Maintenance

            3)Administrative control (construction administration, develop of scope of works).

SKILLS:

1)Medium command of English.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Coordinate and supervises the activities of the personnel in change, carrying out inspection journeys to the station facilities of the assigned region, to detect and to prevent failures.
• Determines the annual and monthly maintenance and service programs to the required areas as civil, electric, hydraulic, sanitary and electromechanical facilities, gathering the information of the area’s needs, for the adequate application of the resources.
• Verifies engineering projects, analyzing the technical proposals of repair or construction, to ensure that the projects fulfill the established specifications.
• Answers the services applications, checking the communication system with the internal users, to program the correspondent job requests.

            Develop scopes of services and revise existing for contracts for civil works, electric services, drinkable water, and wastewater discharge, verifying the execution of the current regulations, to guarantee the services supply to the stations.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

• Administrative control, capture of requisitions from the department on the authorized platform, verifies the compliance for the authorized annual budget, writing and analyzing the monthly indicators reports for the guarantee of the operations cash flow.
• Collaborate with responsible department of the accomplish of the environmental regulation in matter of sustainable development; wise use of water and energy, good handle of waste, and PCB’s and asbestos management, mainly.
• Support Environmental Management during audits and attend any recommendation that may increase environmental KCSM improvement.
