Sanitation Lead Position for a Spice Packaging Company
2nd Shift: 2:15pm-11pm Monday through Friday
Major Responsibilities:
To oversee the process of cleaning production equipment, machines, and works areas in food processing facilities. Responsible for handling and preparing chemicals, preparing sanitizers, chemical concentrations.
Duties, Responsibilities, and Authority
Reading chemical labels or Safety data Sheet (SDS)
Complete sanitation schedule and sanitation form
Monitoring sanitation room cleaning conditions
Train new sanitation personnel on the floor
Control the correct use of coloring tools for different clean process
Ensure the integrity of the sanitation program
Maintain control of the inventory necessary for cleaning and PPE supplier
Performing cleaning janitorial task
Assigning responsibilities to sanitation
Communicate with QA department for any issue on the sanitation
Qualifications
b. 2 yrs. Previous sanitation experience in food facilities
c. 2 yrs in a manufacturing facility.
Must be able to read and understand Training documents.
a. Ability to read and comprehend technical charts and manuals.
b. Effective communication skills, written and verbal.
c. Excellent organization skills
d. Ability to work without supervision.
e. Be able to lift 50lbs heavy trash bags into carts and dumpsters.
