Job description: Sanitation Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Inspecting the manufacturing process to determine sanitation protocols.
• Designing, documenting and implementing sanitation policies and protocols.
• Coordinating and monitoring cleaning schedules.
• Creating and distributing work schedules for the sanitation workers.
• Performing daily inspections of the manufacturing facility and reporting any irregularities.
• Implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities.
• Providing feedback to company managers and advising on manufacturing changes.
• Monitoring the preparation and use of cleaning chemicals.
• Training sanitation workers and organizing refresher workshops for existing staff.
• Coordinating the services of contractors and external cleaning crews.
• Order sanitation chemicals and equipment as needed.
• Must be able to work independently, able to follow verbal and written instructions, detail-oriented, fast paced, team player, and able to meet the attendance requirements. Previous food or beverage plant sanitation experience is a plus.
• Create schedule and assign personnel
• Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines
• Provide motivation, support and guidance to all employees
• Communicate any problems or obstacles to senior management
• Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

Degree in food science or a similar field and 5 years experience as a sanitation supervisor or any combination of education and experience may be considered

Extensive knowledge of the food and beverage industry.

Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to plan workload and manage team
• Detailed knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bilingual Spanish preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per
