Museum Security Guard Part-Time 25 to 29 hrs/week Join in on the excitement of our Exhibitions and Art Programming in downtown Santa Barbara within the newly renovated Santa Barbara Museum of Art. Security Guards wanted and welcome at $17.50/hour for a part-time regular schedule, with opportunities to work on weekdays, weekends, and some holidays. Duties include patrolling the Museum to prevent theft, damage and injuries, monitoring and reporting any security or safety irregularities, and providing information to visitors. The ideal candidate will have a professional appearance and effective communication and customer service skills. Some security or law enforcement experience preferred. High school diploma or GED required. Benefits: Part-time status with a regular schedule over 20 hrs/week is eligible for 32 hours paid sick leave..
