Dr. Lee has performed as solo pianist, chamber musician, and concerto soloist in major venues in Korea. She received a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance (Piano Pedagogy minor) at the University of Georgia in 2016 and a bachelor's degree and advanced degree in piano performance at the Trossingen Musikhochschule in Germany. She is a first prize winner of the 2014 American Protg International Concerto Competition, one of the seven finalists of the 2015 United States Virtuoso International Piano Competition, and winner of the Atlanta Music Club 2013 Graduate Piano Scholarship. In 2013, she gave a presentation on Musical Toys by Sofia Gubaidulina at the Georgia Music Teachers Association state conference. Her article, extracted from her dissertation, titled "Moving from Sonatina to Sonata: Bridging the Gap with Johann Wilhelm Hssler" was published by Clavier Companion magazine in Nov/Dec 2017. Currently she enjoys teaching in her home piano studio in Lawrenceville, GA.
