Job Title: Toyota Shop Foreman
Department: Service Department
Reports to: Service Manager/Director
Position Description:
A Shop Foreman monitors work activity, works with technicians, customers, and manufacturer. Assist in maintaining shop equipment, assists technicians in repair, maintenance or other tasks involved and enforces rules and regulations associated with the shop. Mechanical, technical, troubleshooting, and customer service skills. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

**Duties & Responsibilities: **
• Assists in recruitment and hiring shop employees.
• Assists in employee manufacturer training.
• Creates and manages employee schedule.
• Oversees daily work of employees.
• Warns and disciplines employees not working to company standards.
• Understand and dispatch customer and client work orders.
• Maintains work records and files.
• Assigns duties to shop workers.
• Assists technicians in repair, maintenance or other tasks involved.
• Reviews work completed to ensure it is up to quality standards.
• Enforces all health and safety policies in the shop.
• Ensures that all deadlines are met.
• Assists employees in on-site health or safety emergencies.
• Addresses and resolves customer issues and complaints.
• Inspects and cleans shop equipment.
• Fixes equipment and machinery as necessary.
• Operates shop machinery such as manufacturers equipment.
• Ensures shop area is clean, organized, and free of hazardous material.

Proven Dealer experience and Certification level. Will pay for training for Toyota Certification. ASE's Recommended but not required.
