    Job Description

     

    Summary:

    The Channel Product Manager for Cardio Partners (CP) helps drive the go-to-market strategy for the business. This individual will identify segments in which we can increase market share, and curate the appropriate product offering for selected segments. He/she will then plan omnichannel campaigns to reach this audience. Cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Pricing, Purchasing and other teams will be a key for success in this role.

     

    Organizational Impact:

    The role will allow CP to deliver solutions to its core customer base, the non-professional lay rescuer market. This will includes conducting market research within our customer base to determine who, what solutions our customers need to improve safety and save lives. In addition, the role drive developing, deploying and managing core campaigns and programs for CP.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Determine WHO we market to:

    o Through research of the industry, competitors and existing customers, identify target market segments.

    o Source, segment and cleanse marketing lists for digital and print campaigns.

    • Determine WHAT products we market:

    o Through research of the industry, competitors and existing customers, identify an appropriate product offering for selected market segments.

    o If desired product offering spans beyond our current portfolio, source and onboard new products.

    o Work closely with the Product Management team on non-professional products and vendors. Manage vendor relationships where needed.

    • Determine HOW we go to market:

    o Plan omnichannel marketing campaigns (email, PPC, print, video, sales talk tracks, etc.) to reach target audience.

    o Work with Marketing Content Specialist, Website Specialist, SEM & Marketplace Specialist and other internal teams to execute on campaigns.

    o Work with Pricing team to develop list and promotional pricing strategy to allow us to be competitive in the market.

    o Manage product and pricing strategy for marketplaces, such as AED.com, Amazon. Work with SEM & Marketplace Specialist to execute.

    o Work within our website Content Management System (CMS) to add new products with descriptions and attributes, maintain product/category structure, select items for upsell and cross sell opportunities and handle any discontinued items.

    • Additional duties as assigned

     

    Skills/Experience Required:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field.

    • 3-6 years of channel or product management experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.

    • Experience planning omnichannel marketing campaigns with proven results.

    • Ability to synthesize large amounts of data and information, and draw data-driven conclusions and recommended action steps.

    • Ability to evaluate ROI and business impact to confidently make fiscally-responsible decisions and recommendations.

    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    • Highly organized and detail-oriented; exceptional project management skills to take notes, prioritize tasks and meet multiple deadlines.

    • Proactive; should be self-motivated, goal-oriented, quality-driven and capable of working with minimal supervision.

    • Ability to successfully work in a changing, fast-paced environment.

    • Solid math skills; ability to calculate discounts, margins, percentages and sales figures.

    • Demonstrated positive energy to effectively work with internal and external teams.

    • While none of the following are required, they are certainly a plus:

    o Pricing experience – both manually and with automated tools

    o Experience using a website Content Management System (CMS)

    o Experience with ecommerce website(s) and/or Marketplaces (like Amazon)

    o Experience using Google Analytics
