*Hosting Banquets at our event hall and commissary kitchen: Roux 66,
*Sundays at the Downtown Farmers Market,
*And even smoking whole pigs for special events!

Job Responsibilities: All kitchen functions including food purchasing, preparation and quality standards, sanitation and cleanliness, training of employees in methods of cooking, preparation, plate presentation, portion control, cost control. As a leader with us, you will manage people and systems - and balence that with being a hands on worker and mentor.
Projecting sales, price shopping, assisting with interviews, scheduling within a labor budget, maintaining order guides, and other admin as assigned by the General Manager. Daily collaboration with the GM is very important.
Managing incoming catering orders and planning and executing caters from start to finish with your team.
Delegating, holding your team accountable, effective coaching skills, ongoing mentorship, maintain active professional relationships with everyone on your team, and conflict resolution are very important as well.
We are a technology forward operation, therefore the best candidate will have ample technology, software, etc. skills to utilize all the great systems currently have in place. OR be willing to learn and excel while maintaining standards – With the help of the GM.
