Office Assistant - Sales
JOB TITLE: Inside Sales Team Assistant - B Department: OFFICE - Ordering
REPORTS TO: Sales Director PAY RANGE: $12.00 - $15.00 per Hour
JOB SUMMARY:
The Office Assistant - Sales can expect to contribute to our team with order processing
and assisting with the beginning and end of our sales process.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
■ Answer phone calls and assist customers' requests - if needed direct calls
■ Assist customers with questions regarding their estimates when a salesperson is unavailable or
the customer is a house account
■ Assist customers in the showroom as one of the primary persons to do so
■ Assist with order processing by inputting orders for new orders, RGAs, Repairs, etc
■ Assist with customer’s requests for service calls and fielding if any parts are needed prior to a
visit - including obtaining images when able
■ Assist with follow up on installations and updating clients on their RGA statuses
■ Schedule RGA appointments for installation
■ Be in charge of regularly used parts for inventory and order more as needed
■ Order/reserve any rental equipment needed for jobs
■ Assist with other facets of the customer's journey including order updates, scheduling
consultations, etc.
■ Stay up to date on the latest with products and lead times
■ Follow up on outstanding payments after installation
■ Prep shipments for repairs/returns and oversee its timely shipment out
■ Keep notes and records up to date
■ Complete all daily tasking on time
■ Assist with any other items as assigned by the Sales Director and/or Office Manager
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
■ Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel);
scheduling appointments/updating calendars
■ Document & properly format all notes
■ Able to learn about products quickly
■ Strong customer service skills
■ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
■ Keep a steady work pace and balance workload well
■ Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment
■ Adaptable to new tasks and procedures
■ Willingness to learn and grow with the company
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior Sales experience in an office environment is preferred, but not required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
● Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time at a desks
● Must be able to use a keyboard and mouse for typing
● Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more
● Stooping, bending, crouching may be required for moving parcels
● Must be able to speak, hear and understand instructions accurately and quickly
● Hearing: must be adequate for phone use and in-person conversations
● Vision: needs to be able to see the computer screen and across the room well. If needed proper
corrective lenses must be worn
