Our candy cooks are responsible for the production of candies and sweets. This role entails working with large equipment and large quantities of ingredients.
Requirements:
- Able to lift and maneuver at least 50 lbs.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to work around large equipment.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to operate kitchen equipment such as large mixers, ovens and large pots in a safe and proficient manner according to standards, guidelines and instructions.
- Mixes and/or cooks candies in batches per company standards.
- Read and understand formulas/recipes, measurements, tapes and thermometers.
- Read and understand product specifications
- Monitor more than one batch or process simultaneously.
- Performs clean-up activities as assigned
- May be assigned other duties by manager
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License
- High School Diploma
- Previous candy making experiences desired
- Reliable transportation
