Our candy cooks are responsible for the production of candies and sweets. This role entails working with large equipment and large quantities of ingredients.

Requirements:

• Able to lift and maneuver at least 50 lbs.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must be able to work around large equipment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to operate kitchen equipment such as large mixers, ovens and large pots in a safe and proficient manner according to standards, guidelines and instructions.
• Mixes and/or cooks candies in batches per company standards.
• Read and understand formulas/recipes, measurements, tapes and thermometers.
• Read and understand product specifications
• Monitor more than one batch or process simultaneously.
• Performs clean-up activities as assigned
• May be assigned other duties by manager

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License
• High School Diploma
• Previous candy making experiences desired
• Reliable transportation
