  • Responsibilities

    Savantage Solutions is seeking a Software Trainer to join our Finance and Accounting Group to support federal government agencies with a wide range of financial, budget, resource, and program management activities.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    The Software Trainer supports a higher-level position to perform the following task areas:

    • Assist with the scheduling, coordination, preparation, and delivery of Financial Systems training for Federal agency customers.

    • Assist with updates of all training materials: training manuals, webinar slides, presentations, quick reference cards, release enhancement briefings, etc.

    • Provide software instruction to the company’s customers on an individual or group basis in a classroom or virtual setting.

    • Review training results and trainee feedback to improve materials and classes.

    • experience for users (e.g., distance learning Assist with compiling weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, and quarterly status reports. Utilize and apply new technologies to deliver training courses and improve learning, video recordings, and blended training).

    • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels are essential. Strong organizational, planning, and motivational skills are desired.

    • Perform other financial management, accounting, and support tasks as required to support the Finance and Accounting Division.

    • Occasional travel to off-site client locations to conduct training required, as requested.

    Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

    The candidate must have:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel applications
    • Oracle Enterprise Business Suite (EBS) desired
    • Department of Defense (DoD) experience desired
    • Accounting experience desired
    • Federal Payment and Procurement experience desired
    • Adobe Captivate experience desired
    • Minimum 2+ years of experience

    Education and Certifications:

    • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
