About the role We are looking for a Creative Assistant to join our growing team and work closely with our Creative Director. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in graphic design and is eager to learn more about other design mediums, including floral, event, and buffet design. This role is part-time and would require 20 hours a week on-site at Savory headquarters in midtown Manhattan.This role is a key addition to our growing team. Here are some examples of the primary responsibilities of our Creative Assistant:

Support our graphic design needs, following the Savory brand guidelines to create event proposals, menus, email marketing campaigns, and social media graphics

Contribute to website maintenance and design

Assist our Creative Director with photoshoot needs, both in pre-production and on set

Manage event and design prop inventory, working with our event managers and catering attendants to ensure all items are packed and accounted for at events and tastings

Execute day-of event and tasting set up, with the guidance of the Creative Director

Coordinate floral design needs including making flower market runs, production set up, and floral arrangement support

Create and manage social media content to boost organic engagement

A strong creative portfolio

Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

Fluency with social media channels: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

A desire to learn in a hands-on, high-volume environment

Passion for food and beverage is preferred!
