Responsibilities: • Consult with potential loan applicants - answer questions and provide additional information about home loan products to create personal relationships • Communicate with the senior mortgage loan officer/ MLO to make a recommendation of which mortgage loan products are best suited depending on applicant’s financial status • Collect financial information in order to prepare the loan file, assist applicants with loan applications, and assess applicants’ financial situation and eligibility • Liaise between realtors, senior MLO / mortgage loan originator, underwriter, mortgage lenders or mortgage bankers, and loan processors on behalf of the applicant as needed to assure the loan transaction is successful • Monitor sales pipeline, meet sales expectations, get referrals, and generate new business opportunities • Study for the NMLS test at your pace. We cover the expenses of licenses. You advance to Sr Mortgage Loan Officer at your pace Qualifications: • Willing to complete training program to obtain NMLS/ MLO/ state license • Experience in real estate, lending institutions, credit unions, financial services, or related fields is desired, but not required • Superb relationship, sales, communication, and MS Office skills are needed • Familiarity with home mortgage program guidelines and various types of loans such as FHA, commercial loans, VA, etc is beneficial, but not require • Some college (Bachelor’s) is preferred, but a high school diploma or equivalent is required Compensation: $36,000 Base + Commission
