    Job Description

     

    SUMMARY:

    We are seeking a highly motivated individual who wants to be part of a great company within the amazing global aviation industry. Saywell International has been trading in aircraft parts for over 70 years and we are looking for entry level warehouse personnel that want to Start /or further their career in Aviation at Saywell International.

    You will pick and inspect items from stock against sales orders, count, repackage, verify customers credit and raise invoices in computer system. Package completed orders for freight forwarders / couriers and process shipping labels in FEDEX /UPS/ DHL online systems. You will be required to ship worldwide and handle some hazmat products. You will be shipping critical aircraft parts and all process will be in accordance with the companies ISO quality manual.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Other duties may be assigned as required by management.

    • Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
    • Pack all shipments timely and in accordance with company quality manual and Hazmat IATA compliance.
    • Stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers.
    • Posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage after determining if domestic, local, international, shipping company and Hazmat processing.
    • Ensure company and customer are aware of the shipping cost making and verify credit of the customer prior to shipping.
    • Input of all shipping details into the database and file all necessary paperwork in the appropriate location.
    • Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
    • Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Maintain warehouse inventory count and adjustments.
    • Maintains clean-tidy warehouse and shipping area.
    • Invoice all outgoing goods.
    • Advise receiver of waybill and invoice information.
    • Operates tier lift truck or uses hand truck to move shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
