Operates vehicle for the purpose of transporting materials to designated locations, while demonstrating knowledge of commercial driving regulations and local roads. Ensures the safe operation of the truck and trailer, while maintaining accurate records and conducting necessary maintenance on the truck and trailer logs. A clean driving record, Haz Mat endorsement, Class A CDL, and Tanker endorsement are mandatory requirements, subject to compliance with all Federal Motor Carrier's drug testing regulations.
- Comply with all applicable DOT, federal, state, and company safety regulations and policies. Ensure that all transportation activities align with industry best practices and safety standards. Implement safe practices and operating procedures to minimize the frequency and severity of work-related accidents. Promptly report all safety incidents.
- Foster a customer service-oriented culture by delivering exceptional service. Continuously strive to enhance product delivery, reduce costs, and promptly address customer needs. Cultivate strong professional relationships both internally and externally. Serve as a positive role model, consistently embodying the company's values.
- Responsible for operating tractor trailers to transport materials to designated locations, while adhering to commercial driving regulations and local roads. Additionally, accountable for the safe operation of the truck and trailer, accurate records, and maintenance of truck/trailer logs. Continually seek opportunities to enhance day-to-day operations through consistency, thoroughness, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Complete Personal Development Strategy (PDS) plan to enhance skills and performance, utilizing the PDS as a tool to optimize performance and track progress. Promote and support the company culture within the finance organization.
- Utilize the CDS system to identify training needs and design development programs and content, with the aim of preparing for future career opportunities within the company. Provide feedback to managers regarding on-the-job learning opportunities.
- Adhere to logistics and transportation policies and procedures. Monitor tracking tools to ensure compliance with agreed-upon policies and procedures.
- Perform job responsibilities in a responsible manner, in compliance with company procedures and relevant rules and regulations, including DOT regulations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends)
- Effective communication skills across all organizational levels
- Ability to project a professional demeanor
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, while also being self-directed
- High School diploma or equivalent GED
- Self-motivated and possess an innovative, solution-oriented mindset
- A clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 year of experience in Aging Warehouse Operations
Current mileage rate of $.8558 per mile for all hauls over 11 hours. Any hauls less than 11 hours will be paid at the hourly day rate.
Proficiency in the following is required:
- Valid CDL License
- Hazardous Materials
