Scale Administrator
Momentum Environmental provides industrial cleaning, waste management, emergency response, and remediation services to several high-profile industries in the northeastern US. The Scale Administrator (SA) provides administrative and customer support for incoming waste streams and plant operations related to Momentum Environmental’ s waste processing facility in Bath, NY. The position is based at the Momentum of WNY – Bath NYSDEC Permitted 360 Facility (360 Facility) which is newly opened in Summer of 2025. The Scale Administrator shall provide overall administrative support to the 360 Facility as well as cross-training with other administrative staff at the Headquarters Office (also in Bath, NY). As a full time, administrator in Bath, NY location. The SA reports to the Vice President of Administration and is responsible for a wide variety of health and safety, operational, sales and technical functions.
Essential Responsibilities
- Plays an active role in the Company’s Health and Safety management system including hazard communication, tracking, near miss documentation,
- Assists with general office tasks, field services support including but not limited to paperwork collection/disbursement and an overall office resource for the field and waste facility staff.
- Train and become fluent with billing and waste management software
- Schedule incoming waste loads and communicate/coordinate with facility staff
- Import waste streams into waste and scale software
- Ensure remote scale kiosks are operational and ready for incoming loads
- Complete waste paperwork for incoming and outgoing loads including manifesting and other documentation
- Collect and extract data needed for billing, reporting, etc.
- Complete billing for 360 Facility
- Assist with compliance reporting and data tracking - Assist in collections and ARs
- Maintains an unwavering commitment to the adherence of all state, local, and federal environmental laws, and regulations.

Core Competencies
- High School Diploma Required
- Associate or bachelor's degree in pertinent field preferred
- Must be a self-starter such as finding work to do between direct assignments
- Follow through with tasks and take ownership and pride in work performed.
- Must have a consistent and reliable work ethic by adhering to work schedules utilizing time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within defined deadlines.
- Must have a high level of attention to detail
- Must have excellent communication and strong customer service skills.
- Previous experience in an office/billing environment is preferred
- Strong communication skills: both written and verbal.
- Ability to effectively interact with management, other departments, and vendors
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, and Word
Travel
- Periodic travel to assist with management of event work is required but will be dictated by business need.
Personal Protective Equipment
- When working at a customer site or in a field environment, as appropriate, the ability to wear any of the following personal protective equipment (PPE) required:
- Steel toe boots
- Eye protection
- Hearing protection
- Gloves/ Hand protection
- Fire resistant uniform
- Others as required by OSHA, Internal EH&S, and customer/ site EH&S
Work Environment:
While performing essential duties of this position an individual regularly works in a variety of environments, and is required to see, talk, hear, reach with hands, stand, walk, drive frequently, use a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment. Essential duties require bending, squatting, and twisting frequently. Employees will frequently be exposed to dirt, dust, and fumes.
Noise level of the environment is moderate but may vary depending on customer site visits. Occasionally may be required to lift/move up to 75 lbs.
