Responsibilities: • Supervise and lead a team of scale clerks, providing direction, training, and support. • Ensure accurate and timely processing of scale transactions, tickets, and reports. • Serve as the customer-facing representative of the scalehouse, handling inquiries, issues, and complaints with professionalism. • Monitor workflow, troubleshoot problems, and communicate with landfill leadership as needed. • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures. • Assist with system entries, data verification, and reporting as required. • Prior experience in operations, logistics, or supervisory roles preferred. Qualifications: • Excellent customer service skills and professionalism when interacting with drivers and customers. • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. • Comfortable working in landfill conditions (trailer office, exposure to weather, noise, and dust). • Proficient with computers and basic office software; experience with scale/weight systems is a plus. • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. • Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to manage a small team. Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 yearly
