About the Role:

Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor scales to ensure accurate weight measurements of incoming and outgoing materials.

Record weight data and maintain logs for compliance and reporting purposes.

Communicate effectively with drivers and staff to ensure smooth operations.

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on scale equipment.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Assist in training new employees on scale operations and procedures.

Support inventory management by tracking materials and weights.

Participate in team meetings to discuss operational improvements and efficiencies.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or operations preferred.

Previous experience in a scale operation or similar role is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic computer skills for data management and reporting.
