    Seeking a creative and enthusiastic Travel Agent to join the team at Scenic Locations Leisure Travel. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and booking trips for clients and creating unforgettable experiences for the travel-hungry public. The ideal candidate must have a passion for travel and adventure, excellent customer service and organizational skills, and the ability to think on their feet. In addition, they should have a knack for understanding customer needs and preferences in order to create memorable trips tailored to each client. This is a remote independent contractor position. Responsibilities: • Source and book domestic and international travel arrangements for customers, including flights, cruises, hotels, rental cars, insurance, and excursions. • Provide expert customer service regarding travel options, fare rules, travel regulations, visa requirements, and government restrictions. • Prepare detailed itineraries including visas, tickets, and travel documentation. • Stay current with travel industry trends and best practices to anticipate and fulfill customer needs. • Monitor fare changes, travel regulations, airline policy changes, and industry developments to offer customers the best value for their money. Qualifications: • Ability to effectively manage time, work independently and prioritize tasks. • Minimum of 18 years of age. • Authorization to work in the United States. • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written form. • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude. • Ability to proactively find solutions and solve problems. • Excellent planning and organizational skills. • Strong research and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work remotely and prioritize tasks. • Proficiency in using computers and various software applications. Compensation: $40,000 - $50,000 yearly
