General Manager is a key position at Scenthound, offering strong leadership, teamwork, sales expertise and exceptional customer service.
Position Skills and Requirements:
Management experience
Customer service experience (retail, restaurant, hospitality, etc.)
Effective communication with team members and dog parents
Leadership, coaching, mentorship - be the leader of our pack!
Recruiting, hiring, and creating a happy and effective team
Service-oriented with problem solving, time management and scheduling skills and attention to detail
Computer/technology proficiency
Strength to lift larger dogs if needed; stamina to stand for long time periods
Who We Are Looking For:
We are searching for a confident manager who leads with integrity and compassion. A successful General Manager is an independent problem solver, adaptable, detail-oriented, and compassionate dog lover! We are looking for a HANDS-ON leader who can manage the day-to-day operations of the location with an emphasis on critical Key Performance Indicators: Membership Growth and Sustainment, Labor, Average Ticket Price, Rebook Ratio, etc.
Tasks:
Drive membership sales and additional services through health and wellness education
Maintain a knowledgeable team that prioritizes dog wellness
Develop team skills and career paths through leadership, training, and performance reviews
Uphold quality standards through hands-on participation, team reviews and training
Communicate information and feedback between leadership and your team
Create a fun and energetic environment conducive to teamwork and Scenthound values
Manage client expectations and resolve concerns
Ensure continuous team member, dog parent and dog safety, including sanitary and cleaning practices
