    Our client, a fast-growing, boutique general contracting firm is searching for an onsite temp-to-hire Operations Coordinator for their Alexandria office.

    As the Operations Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our client’s operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Reception Duties: Answering phones, greeting visitors, and handling mail.
    • Scheduling: Coordinating appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings.
    • Office Supplies & Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed, and ensuring any shortages are addressed promptly.
    • Facility Management: Ensuring office cleanliness and managing maintenance requests.
    • Communication: Acting as a liaison between staff and management, distributing memos, creating the quarterly newsletter, maintaining internal communication channels, and informing staff and management about internal events and activities.
    • Event Planning: Organizing office events, meetings, and employee activities.
    • Vendor Relations: Coordinating with vendors for office supplies, equipment, and services.
    • Budget Management: Assisting in budget preparation and monitoring expenses.
    • Technology Support: Supporting trainings and material development.
    • Employee Onboarding: Assisting with new employee orientation and setup.
    • Project Assistance: Providing support for various projects and initiatives as needed.
    • Record Keeping: Maintaining and updating records, including company access cards, active employees, and project trackers.
    • Departmental Assistance: Assisting other departments with marketing, finance, and HR tasks as needed.
    • Fleet & Parking Management: Assisting with managing the company truck fleet program and monthly parking permits.
    • Internship Program Management: Assisting with managing the company internship program.
