This position makes a difference to our residents' overall well-being and happiness and brings peace of mind to families that their loved ones are cared for and treated well. You will split your time between working as an STNA/CMA and making sure the schedules for nurses and caregivers are covered.
This position can either be a day shift or an evening shift position but will require some flexibility as to which shifts you will be working if you need to cover shifts. This will also require being able to take calls and find coverage in case of emergencies. Tracking and reporting off-site time for yourself to ensure proper pay will be part of your responsibility.
Must be able to cover the shift if you cannot find other coverage. The key to avoiding this is planning, providing the RCD data to manage attendance. attention to detail, and fair and consistent usage of the PRN pool.
