    Job Summary The scheduling coordinator performs clerical functions to ensure the efficient processing of referred clients to Qualicare Family Home Care. She/he organizes and schedules referred clients and anticipates staffing requirements to effectively manage client volumes. The activities are conducted in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures; may be required to be on call after regular business hours as directed by the Administrator and/or Care Coordinator.

    Responsibilities

    Effectively meets the needs of each client by scheduling the client with caregiving services

    Monitors referral trends and anticipates increases/decreases

    Responds to client/employee inquiries immediately

    Ensures all relevant information is received either in written/verbal/electronic format

    Assists with tracking and validating client-related documentation

    Assesses client satisfaction

    Responds promptly to incidents/complaints/compliments, documenting completely and relaying information to Care Coordinator immediately

    Serve as the on-call contact for caregivers and clients during assigned times

    Maintain compliance with Qualicare brand standards and policies

    Provides administrative support to the office team as needed.

    Qualifications

    1-2 years of caregiving experience (required)

    Knowledgeable in all Windows applications

    Experience with scheduling software is an added benefit

    Strong customer service skills

    High attention to detail

    Strong problem-solving, organizational and multitasking skills

    Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

    Flexibility to work on-call hours (including evenings and weekends)

    Must have a working phone and computer with reliable internet access
