    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The STAFFING COORDINATOR/SCHEDULING is responsible for the day-to-day scheduling and coordinating of aides and clinical staff shifts. The Staffing Coordinator works with a team comprised of the care companions, supervisor and clinical staff to assure that all of the client’s needs are being addressed and expertly met. The Staffing Coordinator works directly with the Supervisor to assure that we are providing its’ services in a timely manner that meet the wishes and needs of the agency clients. Must have Scheduling experience that is primarily in Homecare, Home Healthcare, or staffing agency! Will work in office located in our Caring People Home Healthcare office in Clifton, New Jersey.

    BENEFITS/SALARY:

    • SALARY: $55K- 60K

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • ·Must have scheduling experience to be considered
    • Ability to work as part of a team
    • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers and administrative staff.
    • Demonstrates self-motivation, self-direction, organizational skills, flexibility
    • Multi-tasking expertise
    • Thrives in a tight deadline driven environment where there is a high volume of work
    • Ability to read, write and communicate in English
    • Proficiency in the use of computers and software programs

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Schedules caregiving services by matching clients and caregivers with input from administration
    • Participates in recruiting, screening and hiring paraprofessional staff
    • May assist agency applicants with the application and hiring process
    • Maintains personnel files in compliance with agency policy and state regulations
    • Assists with orientation of new para-professional staff
    • Assists in obtaining satisfaction surveys
    • Performs on call duties as scheduled
    • Performs other administrative tasks as assigned

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Coaches and counsels para-professional staff
    • Documents all relevant information regarding the paraprofessional
    • On-Call responsibilities as necessary.
