We’re a newly launched home care franchise committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to clients in the Conway, Arkansas area. As we build our team and client base from the ground up, we’re looking for a skilled and adaptable Scheduling & Staffing Manager to help lay a strong operational foundation — and grow with us.
Position Overview
The Scheduling & Staffing Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining a well-staffed and highly efficient caregiver schedule using the WellSky software platform. This role is critical to our growth and success, ensuring that each client receives consistent, personalized care from the right caregiver.
This is a hybrid position based in Conway, Arkansas, with the flexibility to work remotely most of the time. Occasional in-person meetings, staffing interviews or client visits may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage caregiver schedules to ensure consistent, timely care for all clients
- Recruit, onboard, and retain caregivers to meet quarterly staffing and patient growth goals (target: 36 caregivers and 12 new patients per quarter)
- Match caregivers to clients based not only on skills and availability, but also on compatibility and personality
- Serve as an emergency backup caregiver when absolutely necessary
- Maintain accurate records and documentation within WellSky
- Monitor staffing needs and proactively address gaps, absences, or call-offs
- Collaborate with franchise leadership on staffing strategies, growth planning, and client care coordination
- Uphold and model a culture of compassion, reliability, and professionalism
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification or nursing/clinical background
- 2+ years of experience in scheduling, staffing, or team management (preferably in a healthcare or home health setting)
- Experience with scheduling software; WellSky experience is a strong plus
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to think on your feet and adapt to changing situations
- Comfortable stepping into a caregiving role when needed, though this should be rare
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $40,000 annually
