JOB TITLE: Sales Support Representative TEAM: Sales Department REPORTS TO: Director of Sales
POSITION SUMMARY: The Sales Support Representative is a member of the Sales Team and reports to the Director of Sales. The position provides support to the sales team with sales funnel management, CRM management, walk up/call in sales, location surveys, generate proposals using online software, Lease contracts creations, and provide a backup for the retail sales activities. They work closely with Scheffres management, property managers and building shareholders to exceed their expectations. The Sales Support Representative is a key member of the sales team to assist in coordinating the tools for presentations, offers, and deal closings. The position is intended to lead to a future outside sales role in the company.
GENERAL PURPOSE: COMPETENCIES: • Good written and verbal communication soft skills • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical and HVAC is a plus • Ability to lift minimum 25 lbs from the floor to the waist, if necessary • Requires regularly driving, walking, standing, sitting, kneeling, ascending and descending stairs and inclines • Ability to work within Microsoft applications • Will need to pass a background check • Driver’s License with a clean driving record is a must • College degree is preferred, but not required • Experience in a related industry, or like products strongly preferred • Authorization to work in the United States. • Ability to travel locally POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Maintain a CRM database 2. Personalize Targeted emails, mailers, and phone calls 3. Pre-Event marketing via email, phone and social media 4. Tradeshow participation and follow-up 5. Communicate with customers and co-workers in a professional, friendly, and timely manner 6. Sale of goods to select accounts 7. Location surveys 8. Generate proposals and contracts 9. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. 10. Identify and communicate new markets for expansion with management. 11.
