Job Description

Scheid Deignan Brown PC, a well-established and growing public accounting firm in Concord, MA, seeks an experienced Tax Manager. You’ll work alongside a seasoned team of CPAs and accountants in a collaborative environment. You will take a lead role on tax engagements, mentor staff, and build/maintain relationships with clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review Individual (Form 1040), Partnership (Form 1065), Corporate (Form 1120 and 1120S) and Trust (Form 1041) Income Tax Returns
• Research and draft memorandum involving complex tax matters
• Identify and implement tax planning opportunities for clients
• Work with staff to develop tax competencies and align on best practices
• Present on technical topic(s) for staff training

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Must be a CPA
• 5+ years tax experience
• Experience with individual, partnership, corporate and trust tax returns
• Master of Science in Taxation is a plus
• Strong technical skills pertaining to tax preparation and review, tax compliance, agency correspondence and tax research
• Familiarity with UltraTax CS is a plus
• Must be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced work environment
