    WHO YOU ARE

    We are looking for an accounting professional to handle many of the day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions at Schema, from monthly invoicing and contractor payments to preparing estimates and light HR. You are able to multitask, meet deadlines and work with minimal direction.

    This position reports directly to the Principal. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role in a multidisciplinary, award-winning design and technology team with forward-thinking clients. You will work at our offices in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Accounts Payable: Tracking bills, paying bills, and recording in QuickBooks
    • Contract Management: Recording proposals into Streamtime, Schema's project management software
    • Accounts Receivable: Receiving and depositing payments, matching payments in QuickBooks, managing AR Aging and Collections
    • Maintain billing files for each client
    • Reimbursable expense tracking
    • Process Payroll for employees and contractors on a semi-monthly basis
    • Human Resources and Benefits Administration
    • Support month-end close and year-end reporting
    • Work closely with the company's CPA firm

    YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience as a bookkeeper, ideally for similar companies to Schema
    • Expert knowledge of QuickBooks Online
    • General Human Resources experience
    • Administrative Support experience
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
    • Ability to work efficiently
    • Attention to detail and follow-up
    • Positive attitude
