The Sales Engineer will engage in sales activities for the AGRAMKOW, appliance business unit of Schenck USA, providing solutions and services in the appliance refrigerants and air conditioning industry. The successful candidate will be an independent self-starter who will focus on business development in the Midwest, United States.

In addition to base compensation, the Sales Engineer is eligible for a 10% Target Bonus and monthly car allowance of $600 (taxable). Benefits eligibility is after 30 days.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor degree in engineering or technical/industrial discipline - Preferred.
• 3-5 years of sales and marketing of capital equipment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC system processes and applications - Required.
• Experience in business development.
• Sales management experience within a larger international project or component production company.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, strategic thinking and planning skills.
• Strong math and technical skills.
• Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time, including some international travel.
• This position is regional. The ideal candidate lives in Chicago/Midwest area.
