Responsibilities: • Drafting contracts (AIA, construction, and other types); and other agreements (such as cell phone tower licenses with all major carriers, management agreements, etc.) • Drafting opinion letters concerning the interpretation of governing documents and local laws • Commercial Financing Transactions such as mortgage refinances • Employment law issues such as employment contracts, collective bargaining agreements, and severance agreements • Drafting letters to residents • Discrimination cases • Attending community meetings and community Board meetings • Client contact and interaction • Drafting Real Estate contracts Qualifications: • 2 + years of experience in contract and transactional-related work or construction-related matters • Knowledge of community association work is a plus, but not required! • Excellent writing skills • Must be admitted in NYS Compensation: $85,000 +/- yearly DOE
