MANAGER, BUSINESS ANALYSIS
LiveArea’s Manager, Business Analysis serves as a key facilitator within the organization and its clients by liaising between the business and technical teams. This role is a critical part of the identification and definition of business requirements and drives for business problem solutions. Primary responsibilities of this role are elicitation, analysis and documentation of business and functional requirements, user stories, use cases and ensuring these tie directly back to business objectives as stated in the Statement of Work.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Delivers agreed upon projects on time and within budget while managing to realistic scope
· Analyzes and documents new and existing business processes to validate a solution that supports project objective(s)
· Develops and manages detailed business and functional requirements
· Documents user stories
· Collaborates with QA on the creation of test cases
· Documents specifications/ or annotated wireframes to illustrate UI interactions
· Facilitates cross-functional meetings to capture requirements
· Manages business-related issues and action item resolution
· Develops process modeling to illustrate end state solution
· Maintains ownership of the project Change Log, activity working to identify requested changes, collaborating with the project team on impact & resolution
· Manages user acceptance testing and training documents to support completed project
· Conducts end user training and facilitates Customer enablement on platform-specific business user tooling
QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science is preferred or a related field or 7-10 years progressive business analysis experience. BA experience within the commerce space required and previous experience with WebSphere, SFCC, Oracle Commerce, or Hybris commerce a definite plus; agile SDLC experience preferred, and PMP, CBAP, CSM and/or Six Sigma certification a plus. Relevant experience across retail, consulting, or e-business a plus. Experience with Axure a plus.
This role requires demonstrably strong written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical, organizational and leadership skills with a deep understanding of technical integration. The incumbent in this role must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.
