    Job Description

    We are looking for a CPA to help lead our team! You will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting for our clients, preparing and signing tax returns, preparing and finalizing audits, meet with and generate clientele for our company.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
    • Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
    • Conduct tax interviews with clients; request/collect all necessary documents
    • Review and prepare corporate, non profit, and personal income tax returns
    • Advise business owners and individuals regarding the tax code
    • Process state and federal payroll taxes
    • Reconcile bank and other financial statements
    • Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations at all times
    • Maintain communication with the IRS, State Agencies, and our clients
    • Keep highly organized and updated client files
    • Manage staff workload

    ​ Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in Accounting, Finance or other relevant field required
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in good standing required
    • Minimum of three years of progressive experience in accounting or other related fields required
    • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP required
    • Strong Excel skills; Experience with QuickBooks and Accounting systems required
    • Must be flexible and able to multi-task in a time-sensitive/deadline-oriented environment
    • Strong analytical, problem solving skills, and interpersonal/communication skills
    • Skilled in general ledger reconciliations
    • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive data
    • Ability to be personable with clients and staff
    • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
