    Our growing CPA firm is looking for a talented Staff Accountant that enjoys rewarding work and professional growth. We care tremendously about our team, clients and the community; we go above and beyond the typical accounting firm in many ways including participation in several community events and partnerships with charitable organizations.

    WHAT IS EXPECTED:

    • Establish communication and expectations with Manager and clients.
    • Produce accurate and detail orientated work on time.
    • Be hero for clients by owning and improving client services to deliver the best experience possible
    • Monitor your own workflow to provide your Manager with feedback regarding approaching deadlines.
    • Anticipate, monitor and meet the client need and respond with solutions.
    • Prepare standard tax returns as needed.
    • Perform any other work-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by management.

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

    • 1-2 years of experience in public accounting or equivalent.
    • Bachelor’s Degree or better in a business-related field.
    • Accounting and tax preparation experience required.
    • Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook and MS PowerPoint).
    • Prioritizing, multi-tasking and strong organization skills.
    • Display a consistent can-do team attitude - excellent work ethic / punctual / initiative / outgoing personality / pro-active / attention to detail / organized / self-motivated.
