The RoleWe are seeking a highly qualified and talented Market Data Business Analyst to join us as a valued member of our growing Market Data team. The Market Data Services team manages the sourcing, entitlements and licensing of data from various vendors, brokers and exchanges globally. The team supports Schonfeld’s quantitative, fundamental and tactical portfolio managers in identifying and managing data sets across multiple asset classes and regions.What You’ll DoThe Market Data Business Analyst will be a critical part of the Market Data Services team. You will handle the administrative and back-office functions as well as the day-to-day processes supporting all the market data used at Schonfeld. Your primary responsibilities will include creating and maintaining team budgets, contract and inventory management and tracking and managing cost allocations. You will also be tasked with identifying opportunities to improve current processes and delivering better service to the business.What You NeedWhat you’ll bring At minimum, five years of experience in financial services specifically working in a Market Data Administration role Experience with creating and supporting complex cost allocation models Knowledge of FITS application Advanced Excel skills Detail oriented with the ability to work on multiple projects at once Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong ownership experience and a track record of delivering results and meeting deadlines We’d Love If You Had Technical skills, including ability to create simple scripts Proficiency with PowerBI Contract and inventory management experience Knowledge of the accounts payable process Our cultureThe firm’s ethos is embedded in our people. ‘Talent is our strategy’ is our mantra and drives how we approach all initiatives at the firm.
