We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic before and after school teacher for our school-age program, serving students in grades K-6. The ideal candidate will possess at least one year of experience working with this specific age group and a passion for fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging atmosphere where students can feel secure while waiting for the school bus.
• Ensure compliance with all State of Connecticut regulations, including maintaining an adequate student-teacher ratio.
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
• Plan and implement creative and stimulating activities for every snow day throughout the school year to keep students engaged and entertained.
• Report directly to the School Administrator and Head of School, providing updates and insights on student progress and program activities.

Working Hours:

• Morning Shift: 6:30 AM - 10:00 AM
• Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
