About the Role:

Join our dynamic team at Kids 'R' Kids Keller as a School Age Assistant Teacher in our After School Program! This exciting position allows you to inspire and engage children while providing a safe and nurturing environment.

The hours needed for the afterschool assistant is 10:30 am to 6:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Extra compensation will be provided for individuals that are interested in driving our small school buses. This is not a mandatory requirement.

Responsibilities:

Assist in implementing engaging after school activities.

Supervise children out of the building on field trips.

Supervise and ensure the safety of children in our care.

Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all students.

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child’s progress.

Support homework completion and educational enrichment activities.

Collaborate with lead teachers to maintain a structured daily schedule.

Encourage social skills and teamwork through group activities.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom environment.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; degree in education preferred.

Experience working with school-age children in a group setting, is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Passion for education and child development.

Ability to work flexible hours, including after school and early evening.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
