School Age Bus Driver

The Learning Experience – Bristow is seeking a reliable and safety-focused School Age Bus Driver to support transportation for our before- and after-school childcare program. This role is responsible for safely transporting children to and from local schools while also supporting a positive and structured environment for school-age students.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and values safety, consistency, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Safely transport school-age children to and from local elementary schools

Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and maintain transportation logs

Ensure children are safely loaded, secured, and supervised during transportation

Maintain compliance with all transportation safety procedures and licensing requirements

Support school-age classrooms and activities between transportation runs as needed

Communicate professionally with families, school staff, and center leadership

Maintain a positive and professional attitude with children and team members

Qualifications

High school diploma required

Prior childcare experience preferred

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required

Experience driving children or passengers preferred

Strong reliability, communication, and supervision skills

Must meet Virginia childcare licensing and transportation requirements
