About the Role:

Join our vibrant team at Kids 'R' Kids Keller as a School Age Teacher in our After School Program! This exciting role allows you to inspire and engage school-aged children in a fun and nurturing environment while fostering their social and academic growth.

Hours: 10:30 am - 6:30 pm (Full Time) or 3 pm - 6:30 pm (Part Time) *Benefits for full time employees only

Responsibilities:

Implement engaging lesson plans for after school activities.

Supervise and ensure the safety of children during play and learning activities.

Supervise and ensure safety while taking children out of the building on field trips.

Facilitate homework help and provide academic support.

Encourage positive social interactions and conflict resolution among students.

Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and activities.

Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.

Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Support the overall mission and values of Kids 'R' Kids Keller.

Ability to drive 14 passenger bus (earn extra compensation) - Must have a clean driving record and 5 years of driving experience

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting, preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Passion for education and a nurturing demeanor.

Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently.

Flexible schedule with availability for after school hours.

Background check clearance required.
