Location: Sakonnet Early Learning Center — Tiverton, RI Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM | Up to 40 hours/week

Sakonnet Early Learning Center is seeking an enthusiastic School-Age Camp Teacher/Assistant to lead our engaging summer camp and after-school enrichment program. What You’ll Do
Lead Activities: Plan and facilitate games, arts & crafts, science projects, and outdoor adventures that keep school-age children (ages 5–12) engaged and excited.
Supervise & Support: Provide a structured, inclusive environment where children can learn, play, and grow—while assisting with homework and ensuring smooth transitions between activities.
Promote Positive Behavior: Encourage teamwork, safety, and respect, guiding children toward positive social and emotional development.
Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with our teaching team and keep families informed about their child’s progress and experiences.
Who You Are
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Experience in group settings with school-age children (camp, after-school, or youth programs preferred).
Energetic, dependable, and enthusiastic about child development.
A team player with a growth mindset and eagerness to learn.
At least 18 years old with the ability to pass background checks.
