School Age Teacher – Summer Camp Program

The Learning Experience – Ashburn is seeking a School Age Teacher for our summer program serving school-age children. This role focuses on creating engaging activities and a structured environment where children can learn, explore, and build positive peer relationships during summer break.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise school-age children during summer program activities

Plan engaging games, enrichment activities, and group experiences

Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment

Support positive behavior and teamwork among students

Communicate professionally with families and leadership

Follow all Virginia licensing and safety requirements

Qualifications

Prior childcare or school-age program experience required

Strong supervision and communication skills

Reliable, energetic, and team-oriented approach

Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements
