Position Overview:
The primary responsibility is to act as liaison, consultant, organizer, and key team member with the schools and the community in the integration of services, procedures, and protocols to support children with mental health needs and their families. This position is school based and is responsible for coordinating, mental health services and prevention efforts, as well as overseeing comprehensive supports for children with mental health challenges, chronic stress, and trauma.
The School Based Mental Health Coordinator will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the overall school behavioral health and wellness efforts. This includes the development of a comprehensive plan to promote effective integration of the activities and efforts of the school.
Key Functions and Expected Performances :
The School Behavioral Health & Wellness Coordinator is responsible for coordinating systems that support student and staff behavioral health & wellness components. They will work as a liaison between the Guidance Department, Academic Resource Room, and the Administration, completed various tasks, including:

This is a full-time, 10 month position.
