About the Role:

Join Vitalis Healthcare Services LLC as a School-Based Private Duty Nurse RN in Frederick County, MD, where you will provide essential nursing care to students in a supportive educational environment. Responsibilities:

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

Monitor and assess student health needs, reporting changes to appropriate personnel.

Collaborate with teachers and staff to create individualized healthcare plans.

Provide health education and counseling to students and their families.

Maintain accurate and confidential health records and documentation.

Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed.

Participate in school health programs and community outreach initiatives.

Ensure compliance with state and federal health regulations and standards.

Requirements:

Current RN license in the state of Maryland.

Previous experience in pediatric nursing or school nursing preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively within a school environment.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Willingness to undergo background checks and health screenings.
