    Position Summary

    The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for providing in-person speech and language services to students within a school-based setting in accordance with applicable federal and state laws, district policies, and professional standards. Services may include evaluations, direct therapy, indirect therapy, consultations, documentation, participation in IEP meetings, and collaboration with school staff and families to support student communication needs and educational success.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Conduct speech-language evaluations and reassessments for students referred for services.

    Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

    Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students in individual and group settings.

    Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including therapy notes, progress reports, billing records, Medicaid documentation (if applicable), and compliance-related paperwork.

    Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, parent conferences, and other school-related meetings as required.

    Collaborate with teachers, school staff, administrators, and families regarding student progress and communication needs.

    Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions appropriate to student needs.

    Comply with all applicable federal, state, district, and professional regulations, including FERPA and IDEA requirements.

    Maintain professional licensure, certifications, and continuing education requirements.

    Follow all School District policies, procedures, schedules, and professional expectations.

    Provide in-person services, as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

    Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

    Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or required, depending on assignment.

    Clinical Fellows Welcome

    Department of Education certification or educational credentialing, if required by the state or district.

    Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred.

    Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

    Physical Requirements

    Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and perform tasks associated with school-based therapy services.

    Ability to use computers, teletherapy platforms, and related technology as required.

    Work Schedule

    Work schedules shall follow the assigned School District calendar and operational needs. Services may include direct therapy, indirect services, evaluations, documentation, meetings, and other related professional responsibilities.     Compensation

    W2 Employee or 1099 Contractor Options Available Hourly Rate Range: $64.00 -$75.00
