    Job Description

Are you a DC-licensed clinician with experience working with adolescents who wants a telehealth-first role without losing the connection to school-based care?

MBI Health Services, LLC is seeking School-Based Telehealth Therapists (LICSW or LPC) to provide behavioral health services to high school students, adult learners, and online school students attending DC Public and Public Charter Schools that do not have an on-site DBH-funded clinician. This role is primarily telehealth, with limited in-person availability required for school meetings or trainings as needed.

In this role, you will maintain an active caseload of approximately 15 students while providing evidence-based therapy, completing diagnostic assessments and treatment plans, and collaborating with school staff and families to support student success. Clinicians are expected to provide approximately 25 billable SIDA hours per week using a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.

    What this role offers:

    • A telehealth-first service model
    • Meaningful school-based clinical work without daily on-site requirements
    • Collaboration with schools while maintaining clinical autonomy
    • The opportunity to support students who may otherwise lack access to care

If you’re looking for a role that balances flexibility, impact, and school-based clinical work through telehealth, we’d love to connect.

    • Provide brief, solution-focused, and evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, families, and/or groups via telehealth.
    • Deliver clinical services virtually to students in home or community settings using HIPAA-compliant technology.
    • Provide approximately 25 or more billable hours per week.
    • Maintain an active caseload of approximately 15 students.
    • Work with Clinical Managers and other multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement treatment plans and assessments.
    • Collaborate with school staff, families, and school-based teams to support coordinated care and student treatment goals.
    • Participate in required in-person school meetings, trainings, and consultations as needed.
    • Establish and follow crisis protocols in collaboration with school staff.
    • Coordinate crisis intervention services as needed in accordance with established protocols.

    • Provide students and families with information on accessing crisis services and after-hours support.
    • Create appropriate case management notes and enter information into required systems.
    • Complete all required clinical documentation and case notes in Credible in compliance with DBH, Medicaid, and organizational standards.
    • Participate in required service-related data reporting, as applicable to the clinician role.
