The Goddard School® located at 7538 Teague Rd in Hanover, MD is seeking a warm and friendly personaility to be a Welcoming Greeter to join our team! At our School, we put our teachers first because they put our students first. As a Greeter you will collaborate incoming parents and students to welcome them into the school building during morning drop off and afternoon pick up times.

Welcoming Greeter Key Responsibilities:

Welcome families, students, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner

Monitor and manage the school entrance to help maintain a safe and secure environment

Assist with student arrival and dismissal procedures

Maintain visitor sign-in procedures and verify identification when necessary

Communicate effectively with school administration, teachers, and families

Help ensure the lobby and reception area remain clean, organized, and welcoming

Receive and distribute deliveries, mail, and packages

Provide general customer service support to prospective and current families

Support special school events and activities as needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma required

Empathy and compassion for young children

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively with staff, children and families

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children

Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirements
